Today we started our first poem in our treasure books.  Our treasure books contain poems that focus on the sight words (words that students memorize by sight).  Each week we will focus on four  different sight words.  The words will be posted on the blog on the right hand side for your reference.  Every Friday your child's treasure book will be sent home for the weekend to practice the poems.

We are also learning the days of the week.  Our Today is Monday booklets are based on the book by Eric Carle.  Here is a link to the song if you would like to practice at home with your child:

Today is Monday

Parent/teacher conferences will be held on Thursday, September 19 and on Friday, September 20.  Please book a time online.  If you require assistance with the booking process please let me know.

Have a great evening!
