Does your child know all of the letters and letter sounds?  An important first step in learning how to read is knowing all of the uppercase and lowercase letters of the alphabet and the sounds that they make.  We have been practicing in class.  Please take some time to practice at home.  During our conference I gave out a copy of your child's alphabet assessment.

Blog Challenge:  We have been learning about colours in science.  Try the Magic Milk experiment at home.  Take some pictures and email them to Ms. Lang to show the class.  Watch the following videos:
